Our little boy is almost 21 months old now and ready to be a big brother. Here are just a few sweet things he has done or said recently...** He loves to hold up his index finger whenever someone asks him how old he is. Sometimes he doesn't even wait to be asked... like a few weeks ago when we were at a doctor's appointment, the Dr. was asking one of the girls how old she was. While she was responding, here came Li'l Prince running from across the room, pacifier in mouth, holding up his one lone finger. It was so cute.
** Anytime we mention "chicken" (it can even be in reference to dinner), Li'l Prince starts saying, "Bock, bock, bock." He knows most of his animal sounds and enjoys saying them when asked. But when we ask him 'what does a cow say?', Li'l Prince says, "Boooo." :)
** He loves balls! Most of his day is spent chasing balls, throwing balls, kicking balls, hitting balls, and saying the word "ball" (he calls anything that looks halfway round, a "ball"). Awhile back, I was trying to get him to say the word "baby," and in so doing, I was trying to also convey to him that there was a baby inside my tummy. He looked up at me, pointed to my tummy, and said very matter-of-factly, "Ball."
