A visit to the goat farm

Our family enjoyed a fun outing last evening... at Wateroak Farm (a dairy goat farm and operation). We've known the Burow family (owners) for quite some time, but our kids had never visited their farm...til last night. After some dinner and chit-chat, we headed out to the dairy where "Banana" and "Papaya" not only got to pet the goats, but each tried their hand at milking, too! (with Mr. Burow's help, of course). The farm sells fresh, raw dairy goat milk, yogurt, super premium ice cream, and a whole milk ricotta cheese. The best part of the evening (in "Lil' Prince"'s opinion) was eating a serving of their Brazos Supreme ice cream! It was SO yummy...even better than Blue Bell...a lot better actually, and I'm a huge Blue Bell fan! Skeptical? You'll have to try it for yourself (the Natural Foods store here in town sells it).
