Tyrone breathed his last.
"Banana" asked, Do fish go to Heaven? Well... Momma says, Maybe. Daddy says, Probably not. :) Regardless, we gave Tyrone a small funeral, burying him in the backyard and thanking God for letting us have him these last two years. He was a good pet. "Big Daddy" even made a little cross out of sticks for his gravesite. The girls actually had "fun" with it, and seemed to experience more curiosity than sadness through it all.
The happy news...we already got a replacement! This evening afforded a special trip to Wal-mart to pick out a new fish. "Banana" wanted a "girl"..."Papaya" wanted a "boy." Momma and Daddy made the executive decision...another male betta (they're so much prettier than the females). Ours is a beautiful blue color and seems to have a lot more spunk than Tyrone did (even when we first got him). So what'd we name this one??, you might ask. Well, you can make your guess by taking the "poll" (more like a 'quiz'), located on the sidebar at the right! Hey, great to see your family, including the new swimmer. Seems like a lot longer than just 10 months ago that we saw you. I guess little kids have that effect on us when they grow so quickly. We think of you often. Hope all is well at Emmanuel. Brad
