Update

My blog is in need of an update, so here are a few random things...

• Doctor visits - The kids were sick for most of last week and the week before. Mostly just "colds," but "Banana" ended up with throat and ear infections, in need of antibiotics. Doctor thought at first that she may have pneumonia too again (she had it earlier this year), but thankfully we were able to ward that off with prayer and some breathing treatments. It is suspected that "Banana" may actually have sports-induced asthma, which makes her more prone to respiratory infections. By the way, "Lil' Prince" weighed in at 22 pounds! He's not quite 9 months and he's wearing 18-mo. clothing!
  
  
• Thanksgiving - This is always my favorite holiday of the year. Of course we thank the Lord on a daily basis for His goodness to us, but it's also fun to reflect and remember His many blessings from over the past year. We had a wonderful visit with Mr. Ely's family in their city, despite the cold weather. The kids played with their cousins, and we all watched the Aggies beat t.u. 38-30 (whoop!).
  
  
• Bella the movie - A special treat we enjoyed during our stay in Houston...one night after putting the kids to bed, Mr. Ely and I slipped out for a little "date" to the movie theater. (It was our first time in a theater since the VeggieTales movie Jonah in 2002.) This time we went to see Bella. It's a wonderful love story (but not about romance) with a strong pro-life message. Worth seeing.
