Papaya (3) & Banana (5)in their new princess dresses from NaNa
I can still vividly remember the day that Banana was born, and now she is 5 years old! Her birthday was on Sunday, but most of our celebration took place yesterday (Monday). First off, her daddy took her shopping for new tennis shoes in the morning...they also came home with a special 'princess' cake and real makeup! Her NaNa and cousin Megan came from out of town to take Banana to lunch (Olive Garden) and shopping for ballet shoes. (Banana is not even taking ballet classes but has been begging for ballet shoes.) Then, she had to "get ready" for her party, which meant getting dressed-up and putting on makeup. We had a simple party in the backyard with two other families....pizza, cake & ice cream, and of course, a little tea (aka, lemonade) party. Between our three families, there are 12 children (all under 8 years old) plus another 2 in wombs. :) We all had a pleasant time as we honored Banana's 5th birthday! Her daddy and I are so thankful to have her in our lives!

Yep, that's her...she just turned 4 like two weeks ago!
